Up-standers + Bystanders

We have been studying the subject about bullying. It involves up-standers, bystanders and the victims.

Bystanders just look on and watch while the victim is bullied and may record the bullying and may post it on the internet.

An up-stander has at least 5 good qualities. They assist the victim, they report the incident to someone older or an adult.

A victim is what it mostly sounds like they get bullied and just end up hurt or they get saved by the up-stander, the victim can't do much to stop, they can't do anything in the place they are in, and can't stop the fight if hurt to much.

Up-standers: they help the victim, they tell someone higher or older, they don't start fights like they don't throw punches to try stop, they don't record the fights, and they help the victim/s if its bad.

NZ inventors

Research a New Zealand inventor and I did Ernest Rutherford

What? He split/cut an atom

Who? Ernest Rutherford

When? In 1918 he split a atom

Why? He was doing random stuff in his lab and he split a atom and made it into a place where you can go to.

Tell me an interesting fact about this person. He is known for his radioactivity and the cutting of the atom. He discovered that there was two types of radiation, alpha particles and beta particles. He did studies to discover more.

what is resilience

Kia ora Today I am going to be answering questions about Resilience.

If you want to read the article did about resilience click here.

Questions
1.What is resilience to you? To me it means to try, be confident in your self and to not give up even if things are hard.
2. what skills do you need to show to be resilient? Be the person who dosent give up and keeps going through hard things.
3. Think of a time when a challenge came along. How would you deal with it differently this time? When I was made trusted trekker at my school I had a lot of tasks to do. Sometimes I dident want to do them because I thought it was to hard so I just gave up.

Thank you for looking at this blog post. Please comment and share, have a good day. Bye!

Pizza bread you can get premature pizza bread for $5 at the supermarket then at home cut into 4.

today we made Pizza and we have to list ingredients and how they were prepped.

things we had to get before we had all the ingredients.

A white cutting board, a brown cutting board, a green cutting board, a glass bowl, baking paper, baking tray, knife 2x and a scrap bin.

______________________________________________

now the ingredients we had to use to make the Pizza.

Pizza sauce, capsicum, onion, cheese (mozzarella), tomato, mushroom, salami, salt and pepper (optional),  and Pizza doe

______________________________________________

method

(use a green board) mushroom: you can wash first if you want, then slice

(use a green board) capsicum: you first have wash it, then slice, then dice

(use a green board) onion: you cut the bottom off the from there you peel the onion, then slice, and then dice

(use a green board) tomato: (wash if you want to) slice the tomato, then dice

(use a brown board) salami: cut into strips (not to thin)

salt and pepper: you can add if you want to

(use a white board) Pizza bread: you cut the pizza in to quarters

_____________________________________________

Put it all together

Get your pizza bread that you got and put on your pizza sauce, leave a gap near the top so you don't get sauce on your hands

then put on all your toppings that you cut and make sure to put on your meat second then add the cheese on top ( make sure you don't have a mountain of toppings )

put into the oven and wait for about 10min to 20min.
